From the inception of the now infamous “Omotenashi” speech, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has seemed cursed. Scandal after scandal, from reports of JOC bribery, logo plagiarism, to the quadrupling of the initial budget, have beleaguered the games. From the heads of the National Government (LDP), Tokyo Government, IOC, to the notoriously crooked Dentsu, these Olympics are teeming at every angle with corruption.
In 2021, when the Japanese government should be allocating resources for the COVID19 pandemic, all eyes are laser focused on milking the Olympic cash cow. This album was created in response to the daily news cycle, filled to the brim with these stories. Part human drama, documentary, in addition to a large dose of satirical comedy, “Aikokushin Olympics” is an album meant to be listened from start to finish.


今となってはあの悪名高い「おもてなし」スピーチから始まった東京２０２０オリンピックは呪われているようだ。スキャンダルに次ぐスキャンダル。JOCによる贈収賄報道。ロゴデザインの盗作。４倍に膨れ上がった予算。窮地に陥ったオリンピック。自民党党首から都知事、IOC、悪名高き電通までオリンピックは多くの腐敗に溢れかえっている。
2021年日本政府は国家予算をコロナ対策に割り当てるべきだが、大企業や政府は金になるオリンピックに注目している。
　このアルバム『愛国心オリンピック』は毎日同じように繰り返されるニュース（コロナ情報、オリンピック関連や政府の対応）の影響を受けて制作した。そしてヒューマンドラマとドキュメンタリーさらに風刺コメディを加えた。最初から最後まで聴いて欲しい。
